Bicycles and mai tais

On our final day in Gili T we hired bicycles from our hotel and decided to cycle around the island, something we were told would only take a couple of hours (it definitely felt like longer in the Gili heat!) We headed off in the early morning sunshine to explore….

We stopped at the famous swing on Gili T that usually sits in the water, however we arrived at low tide so we made do with some seaweed for the typical tourist shot! We also had some much needed water after an hour of cycling!

We spent our final afternoon by the pool, or should I say in the pool, sipping on mai tais. While our hotel was nice enough, the pool of the nearby hotel, Pearl of Trawangan, allow anyone to use their pool if you buy food or drink  – and we were all too happy to oblige 🙂 Nothing better than a proper pool bar!!

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed them! Just wanted to share all the things we did when we were away as reading other people’s blogged helped me get together an itinerary of places we would like to visit or things we wanted to do in Bali!
