It is hard to believe on this rainy Sunday afternoon that yesterday was the more glorious, hot and sunny day we have seen for weeks in London! My parents were in town visiting so we headed off to Dulwich Park for a wander in the sunshine. I love Dulwich Park –  it is so big and green and filled with trees and pretty gardens. Some day I soon I really need to try out the pedalos on the lake or hire banana bikes –  both look so fun and what a fun way to spend the afternoon! We then headed home, while slowly melting, and enjoyed prosecco and hotdogs in the garden! I love having my parents to visit, I feel like they get to enjoy London the way we do –  as Londoners . London is such an amazing city with the best things to do and places to eat usually far from touristy areas! Its my perfect change to be a tour guide of the real London!

You have also have noticed from the selfies above that we finally bit the bullet and bought ourselves a GoPro and the obligatory selfie stick! We are still getting used to it and can’t wait to be able to use it on holiday in Bali….only five days!!!!

In other news, we FINALLY found ourselves a new flat and I could not be more excited! It is in a similar area and is a beautiful period flat witha garden! We move in just after we get back from holidays and I cannot wait to get in and make it into a little home! London in the summertime – don”t you just love it! That is until it gets too hot and all everyone you meet can talk about is just hot it is. Yesterday was such a day, where the heat felt oppressive and every step required energy!

Thanks for reading and hope you had a fab weekend!xx
