My weekend began with a dinner in Shoreditch at Tramshed, a steak restaurant. We then headed along to Callooh Callay for some cocktails where I ordered a Mariposa, a twist on a margarita made with elderflower syrup. Absolutely delicious!
On Saturday morning we got up and dressed and headed into the city centre to meet E’s parents. The day’s outfit choice was perfect for the mild weather. I chose my new Topshop jumper, paired with Topshop black Joni jeans and my new Office boots (which still pinch a little but I am persevering as I love them!).
We went to see the Memorial at Tower Hill, which was rammed with tourists but well worth a visit.
We then jumped on the tube to the Imperial War Museum which I had never been to. Definitely recommend it as it had some really interesting exhibitions but head along on a Saturday morning as in the afternoon it was so so busy, meaning we didn’t get to see everything we wanted. Oh well, just need to head along for round 2 some time very soon!
Our evening was complete with some champagne in the garden, dinner at Carravagios (yummy yummy yummy) and a cocktail before catching up with some X Factor!
Today we saw E’s parents off and then had an afternoon of DIY, with bits and pieces about the flat needing done followed by a long, relaxing run for me. The weather was perfect and loved running through the park when it is filled with an explosion of orange and copper leaves!
We then snuggled up on the sofa with some Chinese food and headed to bed early. Lots of work to be done this week!
